My mother and I drove into the city, tapped into our inner youth, and enjoyed a late-night production of Mary Poppins, the musical, this evening.  Personally, I am all about dressing up for the theatre.  I have been adding fur to everything this season.  Something about it really polishes up any outfit and adds a certain air of maturity... even when I am feeling like a giddy, little child!

When Winter arrives, scarves quickly become my most favoured accessory to help me cope with the cold weather.  Adding a scarf to any outfit means that I don't have to sacrifice warmth for fashion.  This H&M one has kept me toasty for several winters so far, and it is one that I continually reach for before facing the brisk cold.

I hope you all had a very merry Christmas!  This holiday season has been particularly special for myself as it is my first Christmas spent with the boyfriend exclusively since moving in together.  This is what I wore to a family dinner function on Christmas evening.  Please excuse the quality of these pictures as I was playing around with a new camera that day.

New Beginnings.

Sometimes it takes the most unlikely of things to encourage your next big move.  Inspiration comes in different forms and it never hurts to acknowledge it when it does.  I hope my next move will be something big.
