The Distressed Boots and Leopard.

I've featured these boots on my blog before, and I remain convinced of their fantastic investment value.  They have been the perfect transitional piece from Fall to Winter, and now from Winter to Spring.  I just love the rich, brown perfectly-distressed leather, their classic shape, and how the military buttons add that little touch of uniqueness.
As an animal-print enthusiast, I'm always looking to add more leopard print into my life.  I've been on the hunt for the perfect leopard scarf since before the Fall, until I stumbled upon this beauty on eBay.  Needless to say, it just had to be in my life.  It's 100% silk, so I can easily wear this well into the Spring (and I certainly plan on doing so)!
As we all know, the cold weather and I don't get along but I remain hopeful that Spring's arrival will come sooner rather than later.  I'm just itching to break out my warmer-weather wardrobe already!

My apologies for the backlog in blog posts.  I've been working on a couple of side projects for the blog that I am super excited about, but have also been keeping me very busy.  Stay tuned... :)

Here's a quick outfit post to break my blog silence over for now.  If you look closely in the first photo, you can tell that I used to have my Monroe pierced!  That's right... I have a permanent hole in my face because I wanted to be a rebel in university.

The thing about maintaining a personal style blog in the Winter is finding the time to take photographs when the sun is still out.  The sun isn't usually up yet by the time I leave for work, and it unfortunately sets before I leave the office.  I'm working on it guys, don't worry.  In the meantime, here is a small collection of some of my favourite photographs taken in the past few weeks that haven't yet made it on the blog.
